Using the app
Last Chance Japanese is a Japanese-learning app. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the curriculum, audio, or software, or attempt to interfere with the service.
Your progress and account
You can complete the first onboarding lesson and purchase a membership without an account. After a successful purchase, link your progress to an available account sign-in before using paid features. This associates the membership with your app account so it can be restored across devices.
You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in provider. If you lose it, we may not be able to restore your progress.
Content
The curriculum, explanations, audio, and design are ours or licensed to us. We work hard to make them accurate, but they are a learning aid, not a guarantee of any exam result.
You may report a mistake from within any exercise. Reports may be used to improve the content.
Availability
Downloaded lessons and on-device learning can work offline; syncing, purchases, and purchase restoration require an internet connection. We may change, pause, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of anything that affects your saved progress.
Purchases
The first onboarding lesson is free. An active auto-renewing membership is required for full access after that lesson. Available plans, billing period, localized price, and any introductory offer or free-trial length are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase; offers and eligibility can vary by account and store. A free trial, if offered and started, automatically converts to the displayed paid plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Memberships otherwise renew automatically for the displayed period until canceled. Manage or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings, or a Google Play subscription in Google Play settings. You can restore eligible purchases from the app. Store terms govern billing and refunds.
A subscription is associated with the app account you link after purchase or use before purchase. Until you link an account, membership access remains tied to this installation and may not be available on another device. Deleting your app account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in the relevant store. Deleting an app account does not itself issue a refund.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
Ending use
You can stop using the app and delete your data at any time from Settings. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously breached.
